Pumpkin 10.1 CN01-02303B no ipod connection

Hi, I've just installed this unit and connected my 3rd gen Ipod touch. I've enabled ipod through factory settings.

Every time I click the ipod app it says no music and shuts off.

What am I doing wrong?

the unit doesn't support IPod.Hope you know.
