SKU:12-RQ0360-UK-A media accessing problem

hello,
I have recently bought an RQ0360 from Uk but due to the unit being defective i have to send it back to the factory, now i got it and it's working but i have an annoying problem all media players stop playing music from the Sd card randomly. with a little searching i found that the problem is caused by the fuse driver for SD card and that's a known bug for android 4.4.4 custom rom.
Is there any method to update the android or the mcu to get past that annoying bug
