I am a new owner of pumpkin AS0471H for my beloved Opel Astra H GTC Z14XEP of year 2005.

Today i installed the unit in my car.
In fist place I could not assign the steering wheel buttons. Next I changed the configuration in car model to OPEL and the steering wheel buttons automaticaly played well but afterwords I could not assign buttons again but this is not problem.

The problem that I have see is that the backlight on my dash of door lock button is not working. When I press the button becomes red and lock/unlock but the backlight is not turned on when the lights turn on. All the other backlights in the dash are ok.
Can you help me please?

sorry for the late reply.
Firstly,i don't understand well when you pointed to the backlight on my dash of door lock button.Could you show me a picture about it,an video will be better.
In fact,it seems that install our unit doesn't make any difference to door lock your buttons .

When I turn the headlight switch of my car all backlights are ok except these two. Also the backlight of AS0471H are working ok when I turn the headlight switch.
With the original CD30 I haven't this problem only after the installation of AS0471H.

The next day I connected a diagnostic scanner and see a fault code that my original unit (CD30)
is missing and I can not clear this fault code with the diagnostic scanner.

The connection of AS0471H was the same as my original CD30.

I assume that is a canbus problem. Do you have any ideas?

i concluded this issue with our engineers and we all think this does nothing to our unit.Sorry i am unable to help you for this issue.

Yesteraday I open then trunk and next these backlights opened and next all are ok.
I think that the can bus was stuck after the installation.
Now I have not any problems with backlights in all my car.

Other small issues to consider are these.

My steering wheel buttons are working after the model choose OPEL. But why I can assign buttons via configuration?

The wifi is very slow. Connects immidiatelly but when I download on play store lags until start to download. Then is ok.

When I boot up the unit and press the fm button shows 88 ΜΗΖ but is in 103,5 ΜΗΖ. When I press forward or back or change the station from preset all are shown ok.

These are not serious problems.
If you have any idea it would be appriciated!

Hi,
for the steering wheel button issue, normally we set the car model as Opel and you are unable to set the steering wheel button. Did you point to the panel buttons on the unit when you said you can assign buttons via configuration ? It is normal that you can remap the panel button.
For the radio station frequency issue,this is a system bug.Here is the firmware for your unit to solve it.Please download and unzip the files to the root content of one sd card and insert it into the GPS slot.Then enter settings - car settings - system update.

Sudenly today my CID on my car is not working well.

Always before when the radio was off my CID was like this

Also the backlight led problem is now here again I have said before
via opcom I see these fault codes
U2201 - CAN-Bus No Communication with EHU (Entertainment Head Unit)
B0225 - Recirculation Flap Motor Circuit Low Voltage
B2652 - Instrument Dimming LED Output Circuit Low Voltage
B2652 - Instrument Dimming LED Output Circuit High Voltage

Please can you help me what to do?
