Re: Settings not available
Hi,
Sorry for the issue happened.
It's possible that system error, please first press the RST hole to reset the unit to check.
If this does not help, you can try to flash the unit with the original firmware, here is the link for your unit C0543.

Hi,
From our side, we can check the product details through your amazon order number. And we tell you the unit SKU.
From your side, normally we paste a little label which print the unit's SKU on the back of the unit body. But it may not convenience for us to check it.
You can also contact our amazon seller to confirm which unit you bought.

Re: Settings not available
Since i have flashed my radio, i have a new problem. Bluetooth is active and my phone is connected with "Car Kit". Phone and music player are working.
When no app on the radio is started all is ok. When DAB is started, all is okay.
But when i start any other app like radio, media player, video or DVD, a bluetooth device named "Ford Audio" appears and wants to connect to my phone. The connection fails and after some seconds the device trys again and again and again.
I made a factory reset on the phone, did not help. I renamed the name of the phone, did not help.
The only way to stop the connection request is to stop any apps or to start DAB.
Hope for help, Emmer

Re: Settings not available
Emmer,
I may have had a similar problem with my VW. It was the factory BT integration module trying to connect to the phone. Since BT is an option on my car, it is not contained in the radio, but rather in a separate module under the passenger's seat. So, even once I had removed the radio, it was still active and tried to pair with my phone. Perhaps it is similar on your Ford? I solved my problem by unplugging and removing the factory module.

Re: Settings not available
You are right, the "Ford Audio" is the Bluetooth modul of the car.
But it did not appear before i had flashed the radio and when DAB is running or all apps are closed the modul does not try to pair with my phone.

Re: Settings not available
This is just a guess, but I suspect that the radio is putting some data out on the CAN-bus and that is causing the Bluetooth module to try and activate.
I think the solution is to unplug the module.
