Re: Radio app fault and hard reset disfunction
Great! Radio app works again! Thank you werry much.
Please one more question:
How I can off the radio app without reboot? Theres no Off button on the windscreen. I must always to reboot whole unit to turn off app.
I thing, the app will be more better with off button. There can be another button for save searched stations...

Re: Radio app fault and hard reset disfunction
Hi there
Thank you for your reply!
This may require to update to the new version firmware to achieve that, but the problem is that, update by yourself may take a lot of risks on damage the radio, would you really want to try? If yes, plesae first send me a photo of the current system version and MCU version on the about machine screen on your device, so that we can check if we have the correct version for you to update.

Re: Radio app fault and hard reset disfunction
Hi there
Sorry for replying you late due to not work at weekend.
Could you please download the firmware to install from the following link? Just download it and you will get a file update.img, and you copy it to a USB pen, and plug to the radio USB port to install it.

Re: Radio app fault and hard reset disfunction
Now, im verry unhappy customer!
I progressed you steps to update. Updating of system was sucessfull. Update of MCU not.
What hapend? Steps with numbers(alter select bin file) was verry slow than you have in video. Process sundenly stops on step about 1200 and than radio completly bricks on black screen.
Now I cant do nothing! Not responding on ignition switch, not on resset buton! Only black screen.
Iso cable is correctly instaled. Radio worked fine.
Radio is new - 3 months old.

Re: Radio app fault and hard reset disfunction
Hi there
Sorry about this, the process is kind slow, but it will be continue my friend. As you mentioned it is directly stop and do not turn on, I think it must be power unstable caused during updating or any other operation had done during operation. Would you mind first please disconnect the power cable at the back of the radio for 10 minutes, and then reconnect it check the following video shows to reset the radio to check? Short press the RST hole, and then short press the middle hole for two times, and then long press it without release until it boots to the Android menu.
Regards!

Re: Radio app fault and hard reset disfunction
So:
I disconected whole unit from din cable. 20 min. without power. Iso cable is instaled correctly - +12V on red and yellow cable. 0V on GND.
Radio still not responding on recovery menu. As i shown in my video below, my unit couldn´t get to recovery menu since this problem happend.
