This unit was purchased to replace an older 4.2.2 that died recently. The older unit had much better sound from android apps like Pandora. The volume control knob is also slow to respond. How can I improve the sound quality and get use of fader eq and loudness from sound produced by Android APPS like Pandora?
Basically the older and now considerably cheaper head unit sounded much better and had full MCU support for downloaded Android apps.
Thanks for your help.

Re: No FADER EQ LOUDNESS control in android apps PANDORA
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the National Day.
With respect of your description, the android 4.4 is more stable and perfect than the new android 5.1 on the aftermarket head unit.
The volume control knob may have a little delay when you open many apps.
We have an update firmware for your unit, if you don't mind, you can try to install it to check.

Please download the firmware through your browser, normally it is just a single file with name “update.img”, just copy the file into an empty (micro)SD card, make sure the file is in root of the card.(ie, when you open the card, the file is directly located there). Then please insert the sd card with the firmware file into the GPS slot.
Then enter the setting—about machine, and click the system update and the unit will automatically detect and finish the update.
Regards
