Hi, could you please first try to enter the recovery menu then insert the SD card with update firmware?
And please try to check if you put the update.img into root inventory of the sd card, the sd card should be FAT32 format within 32GB, and you can also use another sd card to check.
If you still have problem, please take a video and upload it to youtube, then send the link to us for checking.
We will try to give you solution.

How do you enter the recovery mode?

There is a place in the system menu that is password protected. Do you know the default password? I have not clue if that has anything to do with it or not.

Is the 5.1 update download available for the KD-C0235-US1-A? If so would it be the same one listed earlier in this forum or could you post it please?

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
About how to enter the recovery mode, if the unit does not recognize the firmware from micro SD card or the USB stick when you turn on the unit normally, you can follow the below steps and try to enter the recovery menu to install the firmware.
Please first hold the power button and press the RST hole at the same time, keep for about 3-5 seconds, then you will enter the recovery menu. Please insert the sd card with the firmware file into the GPS slot, short press the power button to choose the recovery option, and long press the power button to enter the "update system/mcu image from sd card and clear all", wait for about 2 minutes, when you find the screen go to black, Please take out the sd card from the GPS slot, then short press the RST hole, the unit will go to the main page on the unit.And we make a simple tutorial video for your reference, hope some help.

the problem is the gps card and sd card sometimes working and sometimes not detected
and i cant transfer files via bluetooth and i cant connect via wifi direct
i think there is a software problem

how i can check the system for errors and how i fix these errors
and do i need to do another firmware or not
