Its developed a fault with the touchscreen. I'm waiting on support to get back to me regarding purchasing a replacement screen. When its fitted i want to reset the unit back to factory settings so I can start from scratch. But thought if there was a software update I could do that at the same time. As some of the apps I want to use are not compatible due to it being an old version of android. Order no is 100001270 unit is RQ0546

Hi,
There is no firmware update to solve the compatibility issue of some third party apps.I suggest you directly reset it to factory settings .

Is there not a firmware upgrade to a newer version of android? Will I need a code to reset to factory settings?

Hi,
it is unable to update to android 6.0 or even higher.
It doesn't need code when you reset it to factory settings.
