Hi, cause this unit does not include the free GPS card, you can use the online maps, such as Google map and waze.
If you want to use the free testing maps, here is the link for you.

Hi, I don't know much details about the details, the factory said that they provide the update maps twice a year.
It does not support to udpate from website, if we have the new maps, we can send it to you, then you just need to download and use it.
