U0140 Trouble code

I had my Pumpkin in a previous vehicle for about a year with no trouble codes but when it was reinstalled in my current vehicle (same model ) it has produced an engine light and code U0140 this appears to be a generic communication problem with the Body Control Module (BCM)I can clear the code but it just comes back. Has anyone had an issue like this?
