bricked RQ0253

I bought a 12-RQ0253-DE-A through your online store.

The unit bricked the music sd card several time. I thought may be an update could fix the problem.

I used the firmware and MCU from this viewtopic.php?f=20&t=602&p=2102&hilit=RQ0253#p2102 thread.

If I now power up the device the screen stays off and I can here a beeping sound.

Can you provide me a link with the correct firmware & MCU and the instructions how fix this unit?

Hi,
The firmware and MCU are right for your unit RQ0253, and it was used on other same unit with no problem.
Maybe the inside android part have problem.
We can send you an old firmware, then you can try to install it to check.

My unit is bricked also by using the wrong firmware update and I am having difficulty getting to the recovery screen

As I allready wrote in my initial post: the screen stays black and I can here a beeping sound.
I can't understand what the guy in the video is telling, but to me it seems that this video is useless for my problem.

Please give me another advice.

If the unit could not enter the recovery mode and the screen stay black, sorry about this.

Hi Jammy i'm not stupid.
Y understood that RQ0253 isn't perfect but it is a firmware available to help us.
Already tell you about the problems with my RQ0253 EU.
Y have installed a firmware found on this site.
Y am not alone to have this problem.( Bluetooth call problems,settings are not saving,obd connections are not possible....etc.
