Hello,

I had some problems and tought about to upgrade the firmware to solve. Now the system is stuck in the welcome screen. I found some firmware, but not shure if its correct. Perhabs it was my false
I can enter recovery menu over reset+power button.
The problems i had:
- DVD without audio, italian menu title (for repeat mode)
- cant use ipod/iphone over usb
- cant find other bluetooth devices except phones
- poor wifi range (phone had connection to repeater but radio didnt)
Can you send me a link to the correct and actual firmware?

Re: RQ068 Firmware/Recovery
Hi,
As you known, normally we don't suggest our client flash the unit without our instructions.
Please don't worry, we will try to help you solve the problem.
Before you install the firmware for your unit RQ0368, could you please tell us more details about the problems?
Does the unit only come no sound only when playing DVD?
Please notice, the unit can not be connected the iPod or iPhone over usb.
And the bluetooth on the unit does not perform like the smartphone, you can use the hands free and listen music via bluetooth, if you buy the Bluetooth OBD2 adapter, it can also work with our unit via bluetooth.
Here is the link of the original firmware for RQ0368.

Re: RQ068 Firmware/Recovery
Thank you.
Yeah i made a mistake, i didnt tought much about that. For me its normal to flash firmware of devices to get them up to date
Unfortunaly i get a error while trying to upload the update.img
cant open rknand block parameter
and many other errors that going to fast.
At the end i can read "cant mount /cache/recovery/last_kmsg", and "failed to mount /cache /dev/block/rknand_cache (Block device required)
I think it can only be uploaded directly over a micro-usb port onboard, like a smartphone

Re: RQ068 Firmware/Recovery
Hi,
You can refer another forum to install the firmware.
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=14
Please notice if you download the "update.img" file, and copy it into the root inventory of the micro SD card, insert it to GPS slot.
Go to the Settings--about device to click system update to start the recovery process.
Regards

Re: RQ068 Firmware/Recovery
Allready done "My" recovery mode, does not accept other firmware files. I think during the wrong ROM update, it crashed the NAND and is now not aible to read/write into it.
Re: RQ068 Firmware/Recovery
You Can try this method:
Download this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s0issb5u9xmr2 ... l.zip?dl=0
Create a bootable sd card with your original firmware
Copy original firmware also in a usb Pen
Put bootable sd card into your unit and boot it.
When it boots in recovery, you'll see a errore message: remove sd card and put usb Pen into a usb port and proceed with flash from usb.
It should work
Good luck

Re: RQ068 Firmware/Recovery
Hi,
Could you please first tell us if you got the android board from us or other place?
If you got the android board from us, we can send you the original one.
And the MCU version on you unit before you replace the android board is MTCC-KLD6.
Regards
