Firmware for 11-RQ1223E

I just got my radio installed. It will not access any Google Play services, won't register my email account, and a few other things. I wanted to try the latest firmware to resolve it.

The model # is 11-RQ1223E and my invoice # is 6882372420.

Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
For the Google play service issue, you can refer another forum to download and install the update apks to solve the problem.

Thanks for the help.

Google Play Service is now working, can log in w/ Gmail and access the Play Store.

Really like the radio so far...

However, the 3G dongle that I purchased along w/ the radio is not connecting.

I have been messing w/ it since Saturday and I am having no luck. I am using the same SIM from my phone, and it is connecting at 3G WCDMA so I do not think it is related to my cell service. I have tried connecting it to the Radio to both USB plugs and have let it try to connect for half an hour each. There are no error messages or anything to report what's happening.

I installed an app to bring up the APN settings so I could make sure that it is using the correct ones for my cell service.

Occasionally I get an error message stating something like “Unfortunately the process.com.android.phone has stopped”

I connected the dongle to my laptop (running Win10) and installed the software as posted elsewhere on this site. The program never made a connection to any cell networks.

I am thinking the problem is w/ the Dongle. I am not sure how to do any additional testing.

Attached is the screen shot from my phone showing it connected at WCDMA 3G.

Hi,
For the 3G dongle issue, please refer the below video to check if it work and connect to internet on the PC.

You may need to disable the PIN code on the PC, then you can try to use it with our unit again.
And please check if the unit could play music or video from rear USB cable.
Normally when you turn on the unit, the plug the 3G donlge, wait for 3 minutes, the top screen of the unit will appear the 3G signal bar.

My head unit will play MP3's and videos through the USB port. The SIM card does not have a PIN. I love the dongle plugged into the head unit the entire day and never got a 3G signal. At the top of the display it had the normal cellphone signal meter showing no signal but it also had an explanation point over top of it. I attach the dongle to my laptop and left it attached for 1 hour. It never got a signal on the laptop. The SIM card is activated and I was able to get a 3G wcdma signal on my cell phone.

I do not know what else to try.
