Hi,
Do you mean the canbus of the unit RQ0422 can suit for your old stereo?
Next,you can use a wire to short the yellow wire and the red wire to find whether the unit RQ0244 start up or not.

No I mean the original black connection starts my old radio every time I try to reboot from sd or USB it says invalid image

Hi,
Did you try to connect the red wire and yellow wire together?
If this does not help,you can try to click settings---about machine---system update one by one.

I have managed to sort the issue out now thanks, have one more though, my brother in law who brought and fit the radio, but cut a couple of audio out cables so how can I get a replacement audio out leads to clip into the stereo?
