Is there any way to upgrade to a newer version of android? Also is there any way to change the radio station software to a better versions?

I don't have an order number or buyer ID as it was a Christmas gift. From time to time the unit on start up will freeze and I have to shut the power off and reset the unit. The easy connect will work half the time and then crash. The radio part is just a basic analog look and sometimes locating channels becomes difficult as the search feature will not lock on. Just looking for a newer version that is possiblely more digital looking.
