Software Updates???

Is there ever going to be any updates? Im a bit disappointed with this product. Most all Android products have updates. I see many people here asking for them and they just simply get asked with "What is your problem with the device?" You don't have to have problems to need software updates. Software updates resolve future issues with newer devices running newer systems like my phone, and also patch security issues. I paid over $300 for my unit. My $150 samsung tablet gets regular updates and runs 7.0. Where are the ones for my android head unit? I feel its a bit off a ripoff if I'm stuck on 5.1 for life. Considering current version is 7.0. Apps from the app store won't install and become unstable rendering this unit fairly useless after a short period of time. Even Pandora has issues. Where are the updates? I know your going to ask what unit. Its a1 1-RQ0264E+Y0811.

Hi,
Most app from the store is compatible with the system under android 7.0.
The unit doesn't support update bypass the grade such as updating from android 5.1 to android 6.0 or even more.Hope your kind understanding.The latest firmware for your unit RQ0264 is android 5.1.If you don't have any problem which need to be solve through flashing the unit with your unit,we really don't suggest you flash the unit because flashing the unit is possible to do harm to the unit.
