Hi,
if you disconnect all power ,all setting of the unit will be lose such as your widget setting and radio memory.Because the yellow wire of the ISO cable has a little circuit to hold the memory module works.Usually in the car ,we just need to switch the acc(the red wire of the ISO cable) off if we leave the car.

Hi, when i disconnect all power, all setting of the unit and radio memory are not lost !
Everything is still there, when i disconnect all power at the evening and in the morning turn on. Only the widget settings are lost.
When I adjust that ACC Switch-off: 30 sec, then disconnect only the ACC-Power, wait a Minute and then turn on is the same: the clock widget is not loaded.

Other question: The orange cable at the iso cable, from the lighting, for what is that needed? Is this necessary at all?

Sorry for late reply due to the holiday of the Chinese National Day.
yes,this unit is different from other unit.Even though you disconnect all power of the unit ,the unit even keeps some parts of the memory .
Did your unit cold reboot when you find your widget lost?
Regarding the orange wire,this is a wire that control the panel light .If you connect it to the head light,so the panel light will turn on when you switch the head light on.

I made a new video for you. After one minute was cut, two minutes were skipped. 12 Volt permanentplus is connected all the time, only the ACC (ignition plus) is switched!

The same problem I have synonymous with the (In the video the widget in the middle.):

After this "cold reboot" the widget hangs.
You have to start the player first, then start the widget app, then it goes again.

Hi,
I find you set the option "shutdown delay when acc off " as 30s. This mean that within 30s,the unit will keep memory and after 30s ,the unit will cold boot and lose some memory.
That is why the unit cold boot ,the widget of the thirty party app will lose and you need set again. Regarding this problem,hope your kind understanding.
Regarding the problem of the orange wire.Sorry, i forgot to tell you that you also need modify some settings in the factory settings(password: 126).
