PUMPKIN CAR STEREO SUPPORT CENTER

Hello,
Could anyone advise me about my problem with my Pumpkin Android HU? It has now MTCB-KLD-V2.55 firmware and runs on rk3066-eng4.4.4, it has root chun #609, the problem is that software like Sygic, Google maps, iOnrod, car record etc. often got the error "xxxxx has stopped" and then I have to force to stop the app, restart the HU and when I've got luck it works for some time and I'm tired to drive my Nissan Qashqai with a HU that doesn't do it like it should, should I upgrade the firmware and Os (and where to get it) or should I buy another Pumpkin or another brand like Ownice, Joying etc??

Could you please first tell us your order number or buyer ID?
Please go to the Settings--about device to show us more details about the system information on your unit.
Regarding your issue, it may be related to the third party apps, or the android system happened error.
Please first restore the factory settings to check.
We can also send you the update firmware, and hope it can help you solve the problem.

My buyer id is foksie and I bought the unit, SKU-KD-C0223D, on 04/17/2015, tracking 6185293575, I have no more info and when I go to about device there's no more info than the one I mentioned on the mail.
If you need more info please let me know.

Sometime it may cause other problems after updating, so normally we don't suggest our clients do the update, hope your understanding.

Hello Jammy,
I did the update of my HU with the providet file but it's still ver.4.4.4 and now my HU act strang and some software doesn't work like it should, the app starts and after a few seconds I receive the message "Google has stopped" etc.
Isn't there an Android version who should work perfect with my HU?? I think that the ver. 4.4.4. doesn't match with the newer app's.

Hope you can provide me with a better solution.

Sorry for the late reply due to the Chinese New Year's Day.
The firmware I sent to you is the latest android 4.4 firmware, there is not any other android 5.1 or 6.0 firmware available for your unit.
Could you please tell us which apps don't work like it should? The Play store, Google maps, or others?
Your android version is the old one, but your unit can work with most of apps.

Please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions.
Do you know the screen resolution of your unit?
