Help finding latest firmware for my device

Postby RifleFish » Wed Jan 17, 2018 6:55 pm

Hello,

I am curious whether I have installed the latest firmware for my device.
I've got this device installed:
Could you please check which firmware is the latest for this device?

For a second, how do I check which firmware I've got installed right now, so we can compare it to the latest version?

Greetings,
Fish

Hi,
normally we don't suggest our clients flash the unit if it works as it should.
You can enter settings - about device page to check the date of the Build number option.

Hi Jammy,

Thank you for checking for me. But I think you forgot to include the link to the file.
Could you please send me the link again? Thanks

Second of all (sorry the simultaneous questions),
I would like to know how I enter the extra settings for this particular device. I’ve seen some video’s on how to do it, but they all have a different user interface. Do you know how I enter the extra settings for this particular device?
Thank you!

In fact, there is no extra settings option in this UI.The factory settings option is similar to it.

Hi Jammy,
I found the extra settings, thank you for that. After that, I updated the firmware via the recovery boot.
This was completed, but now when I start up the device I only get a black screen after the starting animation.
The blue LED's of the buttons are lit, so the device is started up, but it only shows a black screen. What do I do with this?

Also, I'd like to know if there's an update to the maps for iGO. Could you check this for me?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Jammy,
The problem is still not solved with that firmware, I keep getting a black screen after booting the device.
What now?
