Hi guys
I bought the Pumpkin C0356:
and tried to install it in an Skoda Superb Combi (3T5) 2011.
The existing Quadlock from my Superb fits in both adapters. But with the first adapter () with Can-Bus-Decoder, i cant power the headunit, it just doesnt start, no light, no power. With the second quadlock adapter () I can start the Pumpkin headunit but i dont have sound and the canbus like AC or open doors aren't displayed. Am I doing sth wrong? Is there a solution for powering with Can-Bus-Adapter in a Superb?
I have the Skoda Sound Upgrade "SoundSystem" with 10 speakers.
Maybe the decoder is damaged?
Thanks in advance

Hi, I agree with your words, the canbus decoder may have problem.
Please tell us your amazon order number, we can send you a new canbus decoder, then you can try to use it to solve the problem.
You can also write to our customer service email box "support@autopumpkin.com"

Thanks for your reply. I sent you the order number.
I tried to contact your E-Mail support last week, but with no result.
A new canbus decoder would probably fix the power problem, but not the sound problem.
For solving the sound-problem, I found out that I maybe need an Adapter for my amplifier due to the Skoda "SoundSystem", is that correct?

Hi, really sorry for the late reply from our E-mail support, we have a three days holiday and just come back to work.
So they have lots of work to do and they are not familiar about the technician problem, this may the reason why you did not get the reply from us.
About your car sound system, if the unit can be turned on by the power cable without canbus and get sound, then you can use your car 10 speakers.
Regards

Ok no problem about holidays.
Sorry I wrote it a little bit misunderstanding. The powercable without canbus can turn on the unit but there is no sound. I think I have to try the amplifier adapter. Thanks for your help

Hi, sorry that our unit C0356 does not support your upgrade sound system, but it may be worth to use the amplifier adapter to have a try.
No matter what the result is, hope you can share it to us, thanks in advance.

Re: Skoda Superb: No Power / No Sound
Hi, yesterday the Soundsystem active-adapter arrived. I installed it and the sound worked! Over 2 Buttons i can control Volume and Fader of the Soundsystem-amplifier under the driver-seat.
I tested the sound with the pumpkin unit over the non-canbus-adapter so now Im excited about the arrival of the new canbus-adapter.
On the damaged canbus-adapter, I measured the voltage over the power-cable that goes directly into the unit, there are only 8 Volts arriving. That should be a clear sign for a damaged adapter.
I'll keep this Thread up to date.

Re: Skoda Superb: No Power / No Sound
Thank you very much, the canbus adapter arrived, it works and i can power the pumpkin headunit. However I have two major problems:
• I cant find a solution to connect gaming devices (8bitdo GamePad Controller, does not work with usb cable and does not work with bluetooth)
• The bass in my soundsystem is very low, it feels like the bass in the sound is cutted off
Are those known problems? Are there solutions?

Hi, it's possible that our unit does not support to connect your gaming device, normally the unit functions will be shown on the website listing.
Our unit can only support to play music or video from USB, and it supports to connect phone or OBD via bluetooth.
About the bass in your sound system, it has relation with the audio you play. You can enter the Settings--Amplifier, then set Effect mode to Rock or Jazz, then you may get the bass in the sound.
Regards
