CN10 Captiva/TomTom/Settings

Postby Dersupergrobi » Wed Mar 28, 2018 12:54 pm

hi

I bought the CN10-02307B-01A
(Amazon 304-7904852-5929945)
And connected it to my 2012 Chevrolet Captiva

All works fine, except of steering wheel control
an TomTom

Do i need an external interface for my car?

and TomTom:
it works . but sometimes it crashes. After restart it works again, but
it seems the audio channel for speech is wrong.
i dont need a voice output and i turned them all off.
but after restart there seems to be a fault.
What can i do here? an which audio channel should i choose?

after rebooting/restart the device doesnt show the radio buttons

last but not least: how and where can i activate Voice control (OK GOOGLE)?

thanks

Frank

hi Jammy,

here 2 vids of the unit.
sometimes, when i have to swith to another screen, the TomTom App comes back without a map, only a blue screen.
i can kill the task and restart - nothing happens then.

Only shut down the Unit and restart helps.

is there a new SW for my unit?

Just my 2 cent:
Sometimes it makes sense to setup the system again with exact the same firmware.
So even if this the same one, I would give it a try.
