Hardware frame illumination

Hello,
The actual screen/display is nicely dimmable on the set (also dimming when car lights swith on) but is the hardware illumination (knobs etc.) also dimmable? The hardware does not switch like the screen. I have the version with the RGB functionality to select all colors imagineable but it is really bright during the night.

Hi,
sorry that i don't understand well about what you said .Do you mean the screen could be dimmed when you turn on the head light ?However, you think the brightness still be bright during the night ?
If i misunderstand you , could you mind show me an video to help me understand and find the cause .

The screen is ok, that is not the problem. I mean the actual hardware illumination like the volume knob, the menu and navi knob. Can those be dimmed?

Hi,they can not. Just switch on or off.

Ja geht, schieb den Farbregler der Knöpfe etwas zurück dann wird die Helligkeit der Knöpfe auch dunkler.
