Can anybody help missing icon

Hi first time in here, Newbie

ND0473B headunit in a Vauxhall Astra 2007, Motorola E4+ with android 7.1.1

first of i'd like to say these headunits are great have no problems except 2 small gripes' they are 1 the Chrome icon has dissapeared from the home screen I can still access it if I say "OK Google open Chrome browser", that works fine but where's the icon, 2 when making a phone call the recipient says it sounds like I'm in a tunnel although I can hear them perfectly, any advice I would be grateful. Thanks.

Oh and for everything to work smoothly do you have to have your phone connected to the headunit via USB all the time. Thanks again.

1. Press rst to restart the machine. 2. Turn the sound down properly when you are in a Bluetooth call, or try not to connect an external microphone.
