I was wondering if anyone had built a replacement microphone for the older kitkat head unit to clean-up the Bluetooth reception while making phone calls?
Maybe using a Mic from another device?
I have cut the internal Mic wires and rely on the external one but have had mixed success with most people saying the calls are not very clear whilst driving.
Is there a better way?
Can you solder the Mic wiring directly to the Bluetooth unit and not use external plug?
Has anyone had success soldering an adapter plug to the internal Mic solder points and plugging in a new or same Mic?
If you have tried something let me know thanks
Diy mic for kitkat unit or other fixes? Anyone?

Hello,
Can you offer your head unit SKU?
There is an SKU label on the back of the radio or on the package box.
Thank you
Jammy

Jammy hi it is a S07 model!
I don't have the box any more.
I have tried a few things but no real success.
