Headunit always on?

Postby Zoidberg » Wed Sep 07, 2016 6:21 pm

Hello Pumpkin Team,

I bought this radio: (https://www.amazon.de/PUMPKIN-Android-L ... pumpkin+a3)

Amazon Order Number: 305-7889546-0235544

And now i have a problem with the radio.
At the first time when the ignition is switched on starts the radio to boot. When i switched off the ignition the radio shut down.
I have not changed anything but now is the radio always on. I am not sure witch cable must be connectet with the other one.
I have tried to find it out but it doesnt matter which one i choose - the radio is always on.
I am not interested to get an empty battery from this problem :-)
Can u tell me what can i do?

thanks 4 ur help

Hi,
Sorry for the trouble caused.
According to your attached picture, you have to connect the little blue connector and white connector, then the unit will turn off when you remove you key.
Here is an attached picture for your reference.

Hi,
You may need to check if the red little connector is connected or not.
If not but the problem still happens, you can modify the wire to solve this problem.
Here is a picture about how to modify the wire, hope some help.

I think thats not a very professional problem solving.
That should be work without this modification.
Have you got another idea?

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
This is the efficient and good solution, you don't need to modify your original wire.
If you make sure the little red connector not connected, the canbus box may have problem.
We can send you the new canbus box, but it can only be sent out from China. Normally it takes 2-3 weeks to arrive.
Please tell us which power cable you used.
Regards
