GPS issues on CN03-03101B

Postby Morpheusptt » Mon Jul 03, 2017 2:07 pm

Hello.
I have some issues with GPS locking and general navigation on a pumpkin unit, Amazon ad is https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B06XHJ ... 6395600302

I've made a YouTube video that can probably explain it better than I can:

https://youtu.be/vfOIAqLqhX0

It tends to happen more constantly during the day, which makes overheating of the GPS module a possibility.
Thanks!

It's waze. But it does this in all navigation apps, including the GPS monitor, it shows me doing 100km/h while standing still with the car shut down.

Hi,
It is strange. When you use online map app,you need to confirm the net is normal.
Besides, you need to confirm whether the map is in simulation of Navigation.
If the problem still on there, could you mind try to use an offline app such as IGo?
Or you can also try to hard reset.
What do you mean by including the GPS monitor?

I mean the GPS monitor also says I'm doing X kph while I'm standing still.

I've tried sygic, it does the same thing.

Hi,
it maybe the unit hardware or software problem.
Did you do a hard reset? If this does not help, please take a picture of the GPS monitor page like following piocture to us.Thanks.

Hello,
I've also a GPS issue on CN03-03101.
The MCU-Version is MTCD_LM_V2.44
My Amazon Order-No. is #306-4482635-7769953
I'd unfortunately now find that the device after about 90 min. is lost the GPS contact in the navigation mode. A contact to the satellites is made again by a complete restart (hard reset) of the device. In the continuation of the operation, the contact with the satellites is then interrupted again and again for a short time. Unfortunately, reliable navigation is not possible because the software loses the location every time. The problem occurs regardless of the Tom Tom Go or Sygic software used.

Regards
