Google search from external mic

Hi,

I had a problem with the poor sound quality of the internal mic so i disconnected it as was recommended here.

The external mic working just fine. problem is i can't make a voice search anymore since google doesn't recognize voice from the external mic.

any chance i can change the default system's mic to the external? or is there any other solution for me?

My head unit is: PUMPKIN Car DVD Stereo Android 5.1 for TOYOTA CAMRY SEQUOIA.

Hi,
As far as i know,there is no way to disconnect the internal mic through the setting.If you connected an external mic,that means the external mic and internal mic work at the same time.
How do you do that?

I cut the wire of the internal mic so it doesn't work now.

anyone here did that and know how to make the External mic the default mic? Any app for that?

Hi,
we suggest you wire up the internal mic.
The Google voice only recognize the internal mic.If you think the sound of the internal mic is bad,you can speak toward external while having a call.
