I have the same problem with Hangouts.
It also happens with Pulse messaging.

Is there any fix or workaround yet?

Sorry @Jammy, but with a new firmware from your support, this issue has been fixed a couple of weeks ago.

thanks for your tip.Before you told me , i didn't get notification that the latest firmware would solve this Hangouts issue.
