What does the Mode button do on the SWC, and other questions

Hi,
I installed a SWC and it works fine. However this is a silly question, but I can't figure out what the Mode button is used for. When I press it, it doesn't do anything. Is it like an Alt button where you can program additional functions for the other buttons, or is it supposed to do something by itself?
Another question... Is there a way to do voice dialing? It is a bit dangerous to scroll through a long list of contacts, or type in a search while driving. For instance on my other car with built in GPS I can press the phone button, then say "Phone", and then something like "Call Andrew on cell". I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Hi,
Could you please first tell us your order number or buyer ID?
This information is very important for us to provide you best answer or solution.
For the SWC, normally our unit can support the steering wheel buttons, like next and previous, volume up and down, phone call receive and hang up. Sometime it can not support some buttons connected to the original on-board system. And the buttons can not be reprogrammed on our unit.
For the voice dialing, currently our unit does not support this function, sorry about this. We will take this suggestion into consideration and hope make it available on the new released unit in the future.
Regards

Hi,
The order number from Amazon is 108-3781835-6589810.
But can you please let me what the purpose of the Mode button is? What is it supposed to do when you press it? I can program the SWC's Mode button to the Mode button on the unit successfully, but then pressing it on the SWC doesn't do anything.
As for voice dialing, I noticed that the Google Voice App allows for voice commands, and it responds to my voice, however it's contact list is empty so it can't actually make the call (it says it can't find that contact). I'll have to figure out how to get the contacts that are already in the Bluetooth section (synced from the phone) also be visible by the Google Voice App. But even then, I don't know if it can make a call.

Hi,
The Mode button is used for changing mode, if the unit play radio station, when you press the Mode button, then the unit may play music or DVD.
If your car has this mode button which can be customized, then you can learn and use it.
Regards

I have mapped my mode button to return to home screen. The SWC are really good part of these head units.
