Whats the main advantage of 8.0 vs 7.0

Hi i was wondering if anyone can tell me what they have found are the main reasons to upgrade to the 8.0 version? Admittedly i only have the much earlier 4.4 unit and that is limited with ram etc. So if you have stepped up please tell me of it has been worth it? Thanks
