Is there a way to upload a boot logo from a usb drive? My cars manufacturer is not in the list of available boot logos? Also my buttons on the left side are not illuminated at night. Is there a setting or anything to get them to turn on?

Hi,
For the boot logo, this unit AQTU72 includes almost all the famous cars manufactures, please press the screen and drag down to double check it in factory settings.
If you still could not find it, we will ask the factory technician which format and other requirements of the picture can be set to the boot logo.
For the illumination wire, you first need to connect it to your car headlight positive pole or other ACC wire of your car.
Then the buttons on the unit will turn on when you turn on the headlight or turn on the unit.

I'm having an issue with sound clarity of the microphone when I'm on the phone. Is there anyway to wire in an external microphone? I looked at the wiring harness and didn't see a place for a mic.

Hi,
There is not a place or port for an external mic.
Please check if the sound clarity of the internal mic is interfered by the background noise, running engine and other noise inside the car.

My unit has recently started randomly not turning on. I have double checked all the connections and they are all good. It will turn on sometimes and other times will not. There is no pattern for when it works and does not work.

Sorry for the trouble caused.
Regarding your issue, it maybe the system software problem or the installed third party apps cause it.
Please go to the CarSettings--factory_reset_settings, click Erase everything, input the code 1234 to restore the factory settings.
If this does not help, we can send you the original firmware to flash the unit.

Thanks the factory reset fixed the issue. Im having trouble installing torque pro from the Google play store. It gets to about 90% then says the app can't be installed.
