When the car is running the reception on Bluetooth while making a call is not very good I can hear them ok but they can't hear me clearly. If I turn off the car then it is very clear and works fine. What's the best way to help with the interference from the car. Any help would suggest it would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Thanks I will give it a try. I actually think it is the bluetooth module itself in the radio it seems to be a bit directional but I have several phones I can try, all android. I have been told it is very staticy and raspy? Sit may be something else. Would the windscreen DAB+ antenna interfere?

I had serious DAB issues that turned out to be a cheap ebay usb charger. If you have one of those plugged in try removing it. That solved my poor DAB reception....well mostly. The glass antennas are pretty poor.

Hi LeeH22 I have modded the windscreen antenna for Dab by making it longer and then adjusting down a bit as I test it. It is currently running at about 310mm instead of 285 and some areas have improved in my city. I do have a USB charger wired in to the old unused cigarette lighter socket, maybe a noise filter first and then try removing the charger. I always forget that some things interfere with others. cheers

Success.
Putting a filter on with a relay has improved the Bluetooth reception and also taken out all the noise from the ignition so I call that a success. I put in a direct power line from the battery to a fuse and then to a 10amp noise filter using a relay to trigger it. That improved the clarity of the Bluetooth and the DAB radio

I have just taken the relay out of the circuit as it was overkill and it also meant that there was no holding power to the unit so it reset my radio stations every startup, annoying, so no relay and still great reception. cheers for the tip
