Problem with steering wheel remote control on RQ0368E

Hello,

From the very beginning, the remote control done at the steering wheel is just working at the original applications - means radio app aso.
For 3rd parties apps loaded from google play store (like spotify) the remote is not working. It's not possible to use forward button to switch to next track for example.

Is this a personal bug on my head unit or a general software bug or problem with the head unit?
Can I solve this problem by updating the software or is there any other option to get this fixed?

Additionally I'd like to know how the situation in this regard is at the new series with 7.1 Android system, f.ex. at the AS0372B.

Hi,
1.do you mean the steering wheel control doesn't work on the Spotify app? If yes,you can try to install an APP : CAR SERVICE .
2.Normally we don't promise that the steering wheel control support the third party app .Hope your kind understanding.

can you tell me the developer? When I search google play for car service all I get are apps for vehicle maintenance or taxi services.

ok I found the car service app, but it doesn't work with newer head units. any other options?
