bluetooth for CN01-02306B-08A

I would like to use a more user friendly blue tooth app. I have downloaded 2 so far but can't get them to work. the app installed with the unit is difficult and in my opinion dangerous to use in a moving vehicle. I'm not very good with electronics so any help would be great! thanks

the bluetooth app works with the regarding bluetooth module.So it doesn't support other app.Hope your kind understandings.

The bluetooth app is very dangerous. I can't mirror my phone, probably because its the google pixel 2. GOOGLE NOW does everything, but make a phone call. I'll be sending this back. I must admit that though this unit fails badly in the phone areas, everything else works great. I had a sony
before this, it was twice as expensive but the ONLY thing that worked correctly was the phone. Does your new 8.0 have an improved phone app with voice control?
