Hi,
Just checking that the problems I am having trying to connect my OBD2 via bluetooth to my head unit can be resolved by using the correct OBD2 device please?
The head unit I have is;

I have a generic OBD2 bluetooth device that will work with other android tablet, but when I attempt to connect with the Pumpkin head unit it fails to connect because it does not give the opportunity to input the pairing code"1234". This is how I connect to other android devices. I am the using Torque APP.
Do I have to use a wifi unit, is this the correct part please?

Thanks for the support, Freddy.
OBD 2 Connection
Re: OBD 2 Connection
Hi,
could you please first try to change our unit bluetooth pair password from 0000 to 1234. Please follow the below steps.
1. Change the paired password from 0000 to 1234,then unplug the OBDII;
2. Go to the "settings"->"backup&reset" and do the "factory data reset"
3. uninstall the old "torque", install the torque from "apkInstall/OEM";
4. plug the OBDII again,then pair it with the new password (1234) via Bluetooth, open the new installed torque and check
Here is a tutorial video for your reference, hope some help.

If this does not help, it must your generic OBD2 bluetooth not compatible with our unit, sorry about this, you can buy a OBD2 wifi from us.
