Audi A4 Rear Speaker and Subwoofer dont work

Hello Guys,

i bought this unit https://www.ebay.de/itm/182890604063 wich say "For Audi A4 2003-2008" this means it should work with this Car right? If there are different Systems out there wich need different wiring you should at leat give Informations how it should be wired?!

Whats wrong?

1. My Rear Speaker dont work (only one give a cracky sound) all others together with the Subwoofer dont work.
2. When i turn on the Light i get a noise to the Speakers (only possible to hear without music) but its still annoying somehow.

What System do i have?

I have a 2005 Audi A4 Sline with a RNS-E Audi Navi Plus Radio Installed. The Radio is pluged with a Quadlock System. In the Back i have a Harman Amp with a Subwoofer wich is the Original Amp from Audi

What i found out!

There are different System installed at a Audi depends on the Model.

Full Amplified
Front Amplified
Rear Amplified
Non Amplified

seems like i have a Rear Amlified System because i only have cables in Connection 2 3 6 7 Installed wich is used for the Front Speakers



The Rear Speaker seemed to work with Connection 5 Line Out RL and 11 Line Out RR and Connection 9 Line Out GND



The Pumkin Chinch Connectors seemed to use Connection 5 11 an 9 wich means it should work?!

What i allready did?

I tried S1 switching the Chinch Cable but it did not change anything

I tried S2 if i move to the rear there is no Sound (or only crackles out of one Box in the Back) if i move to the Front i only have Sound in the Front.

I tried S3 turning the Knobs on the Output Level this changed exactly nothing! not on the Front Sound not on the Back Sound.

I did not tried S4 because i dont have this Module at the Moment and i think when i Buy a System for over 300€ Specially made "For Audi A4" then i think all Adapters should be shipped?!

Do you think S4 will work for me or is it a totally different Problem? I think it will not work because there are no wires on my System?!

What i do have installed is a Cable on Connetion 5 "K-Line" where there is no Cable installed from Pumpkin. Does this maybe help?



I hope you guys have a quick and cheap Solution for my Problems

Hi,
sorry for bringing you bad experience.
For the rear speakers problem,in the S1 step, could you show me some pictures of your real audio RCA connection?We need confirm that whether you connect correctly.
For the noise problem,we arrange to send you an new ISO cable which configured with a filter.But please first tell me which ISO cable you are using(there are two ISO cable with different connector in the package).

By the way,the picture you showed me last post may be broken ,so i am unable to see that .We hope you also can upload them again.

Hello, I bought it over Ebay with the buyer Name Philnation888

I am using the Quadlock Connection the one on the right.
I uploaded some pictures into this folder maybe they work this way for you:

For me it seems to be all correct Can L Can H and the ANT also sending the Radio on Signal to the Subwoofer (white cable) and also the line out seems to be correct.
Only one box is working but only with crackling noise. If I change rear and front chinch it's the Same. If I change right and left chinch only the sound move from left to right.

With my original Radio the rear speaker and Subwoofer works perfectly.

Maybe it's the Can H and Can L switched? Is green and purple correctly installed?

Do the ANT Signal on connection 13 send enough power to switch on the Amplifier?

Hi,thanks your picture.
You need to contact the customer service to get the new ISO cable.
About the rear speakers,you can disconnect the front RCA cable and just only connect the rear cable like follows.

If there still no sound from the rear speakers,please check the whether the white wire get 12V .

Hello Jammy thanks for the help!
I disconnected the Front RCA or tried all possibilities and not both speaker right and left have a crackling sound and also the Subwoofer is moving. Before there was only the Left speaker giving a crackling sound.

But still there is no normal Sound in the back. It is not loud and really crackling. And changing the potentiometer on the Platine doesn't change anything.

The white wire gets the 12v Signal and also send it to the amp. It arrives on the white wire on the amplifier.

I think it's maybe the Box after the rca plugs maybe there is something wrong with the Platine?
Or there is not enough power arriving at the amp in the back? It sounds like there is noise in the sound and I cannot make it loud. Sounds a bit like a bad radio signal
