Pumpkin 7.1 2GB 32GB canbus error and radio adapter issue?

I have just installed my pumpkin head unit in my vw polo 6r 2012 and is working well so far. Two issues I currently have is that the radio inputs do not fit the the radio socket in the car. One of the connecters go in but the other one just won't fit unless I trim the plastic. Is this what I'm supposed to do? The second minor problem is that when I open the driver side door, the front passenger side shows up open on the screen, the opposite happens when the front passenger door is open. Is this something that can be configured in the settings. Other than that head unit fits and works perfectly.

I have fixed the radio issue, turns out i only needed one of the wire to be connected to the radio adapter. However it still shows the wrong front door being opened.

You can enter settings - car settings - extra settings(123456) - door info to modified it.
