AS0372B-01B does not stay tuned

Hi,

I recently bought the Android navigation radio AS0372B-01B. This is the quad-core Android radio. I am very satisfied with the radio. Still one challenge: the radio does not stay tuned to the frequency I set.

When I tune to a radio station, it stays on that frequency for a few seconds. Then it automatically starts scanning the whole range until it is back to the same frequency. It stays there for a few seconds and then starts scanning again.
How can I keep it locked to a frequency?
I tried the various options like AF on or off, TA, PTY etc. No luck.

The original OEM radio had a very good receival of channels. The pumpkin radio seems to have a much weaker receive (and therefor autoscans for a stronger signal for the same station?). I am using the original radio antenna of the car. Needed the adapter that was supplied with the radio. It has a proper connection to the Pumpkin radio.

Please download the files to the root content of one sd card and insert it into the GPS slot.Then enter settings - about devcie - system update.

The problem is solved.

I downloaded the upgrade, put it on an SD cart and placed it in the SD slot. The device automatically asked me to upgrade which I did.The upgrade worked like a charm. But it did not solve my problem.

Then I tried some more options in the Radio, Finally I found out that when I set PTY to 'none', the radio stays tuned to the frequency I set it.
