Pumpkin 2 Din 6.2'' Android 7.1 wont recognize USB camera

Hi,

I bought this android car system and i also bought the camera.

But the DVR app wont recognize my camera. Other app neither.

1 app (Cam on Roads) works but gives a green beam in the screen when playing recorded file.

Android system is CN10-02307B
Camera is Y0020.

please help.

Please download and unzip the files to the root content of one sd card and insert it into the GPS slot.Then enter settings - car settings - system update.

Hi,
the unit should normally records (not display green beam) after flash the firmware,isn't it?
About your issue,you can try to
1.connect the cam to the other USB slot.

Hi,

With the DVR app i see only a black screen. No image from the camera on the screen. When i press record nothing happens.
So it seems the camera is not recognized by the app. also when i connect the camera to the front USB port same issue.

When i use Can on Roads app. The camera works and i see the image from the camera on the screen.
But when i record and then play the file. There is a green beam in the movie.

Suggestion: If your developpers can make CamOnRoad app work with this unit, that would be great!

It will help a lot of customers i think.

i will update the DVR app and try again. I will make a video and feedback.

sorry that the DVR app that i gave isn't suit for your unit .
The build-in one app called recorder (see picture) should works normally,doesn't it ?

If not, i mean you can change connecting your USB cam to back USB port 11 or 13. I tested this and find one of them doesn't support USB cam .

Also with this app the camera is not recognized.
I tried all USB ports. 2 on the back and 1 on the front

Hi,
in your video , i find you only tested one USB slot. In fact , you maybe need to take unit out and test the back USB slot labelled DVR .
Beside ,you can try to insert an USB stick to test both of two USB connectors works normally or not. If not ,you can contact the pumpkin customer service for change the USB cable .
