Acceleration sensors on RQ0276E /ODB2 link?

Postby MiLe » Sat Aug 13, 2016 7:42 am

Hi,

meanwhile, my RQ276E works about fine in the car.
Amazon order number is 302-9991654-6653104,
Model.Nr.: S07
MCU: MTCC-KLD6-V2.91
May 31 2016 19:54.:14
Android 5.1.1 1024*400
Kernel 3.0.101+
root@chun #42
Tue May 17 21:50:34 CST 2016
Build rk3188-userdebug 22062016.16:41:09

I use torque pro to read data from the odb2 Adapter. The odb2 Adapter from Pumpkin works fine and receives data, but the link seems not to be stable. As long as i stay in the turque app, everything's fine, but if i switch meanwhile to other apps (radio), it looses connection and doe'snt get it back until reboot.

Second issue on torque pro: I can get no acceleration data from the Headunit. On my Huawei P7 smartphone this works fine, but not with the RQ0276. Are there no acceleration sensors built-in or do i have to activate them, correct some parameters.....?

Thanks and regards

Michael

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.
With respect of your description, it's possible the Torque app problem or the system software bug.
The factory provided us a new firmware which is used for solving the rebooting issue that happens when the android 5.1 unit connected to OBD2 Bluetooth.
Here is the link for you. Hope this does help.

Hi Jammy,

thanks for your support.
But before i flash the firmware again i would like to know, if the unit has built in sensors.
Even the elixir app does'nt find any sensor , even if there is no ODB-bluetooth adapter is installed.
I talk about internal sensors in the headunit, like acceleration, proximity, light, gyroscope..........

Regards

Michael

Hi,
As I know, the unit does not have the sensors. Sorry about this.
Maybe the android smartphone have some sensors, like gyroscope, GV-sensor, pressure sensor etc..
The aftermarket car stereo supplier are trying to make this available in the future.

Can I update the RQ0276E from Android 5.1 to Android 6.0?

Hi,
There is not an update for RQ0276, and different manufactures have different hardware configuration and software.
So even we have the android 6.0 new units, it's still not possible for your unit to update from android 5.1 to 6.0. Hope your understanding.
Regards
