Thanks for your attached picture.
Regarding the inactive POIs on the GPS menu, it maybe the GPS software problem, please go to the Settings and try to do the Reset to Defaults to check.
If this does not help, you can reinstall the maps, as you could see, the POIs from our attached picture was active.

Sorry, I can't download this file. I tried it a several times but at approximately 50% I'll get an error message

I installed another browser, so I was able to download this file. I will test it

Ok, I could download the file and reinstalled it. After the installation, the app couldn't locate my location. It seems, as it gets no GPS signal. At the first run, I've got an error message of missing file or empty zip folder.

Everything ok, I solved the problem but the POIs are still inactive.

That's strange, I suggest you use other maps, such as Sygic, here maps, waze etc.

I could solve this problem. I've uninstalled the igo app and installed the original (pay) version via playstore. Now it works succesfully.
