Radio does not startup KD-C1403

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD and I recently purchased this item

I removed the factory radio and installed the new one. I first tried the wiring harness with the CANBUS decoder. Did not power up. I then tried the harness without the decoder. Same. Went back to the CANBUS decoder harness and tried again. This time the screen powered up but stayed black, then about 10-15 seconds later I got this.

I also couldnt help but notice the canbus decoder is not for my vehicle.

The canbus harness does have an extra plug that I do not need. After reading the forums I found only 1 post that sounded similar to my issue. That the backup camera for some reason is being entered. I played with all the buttons on radio with no affect. If I turn my headlights on and off the screen does brighten and darken and once it did show my driver door being ajar overlayed over the error.

Could you please tell us your order number or buyer ID?
Regarding your issue, the reverse detective signal through the canbus decoder may have problem.
Please refer the below picture to cut the reverse detective wire and check if the problem still happens.
