DAB issues and other questions

Hi,

i got my RQ0278 radio last weekend and thanks to the many postings I got the most settings as I imagined.

Some questions are still open.

First :

Is the reverse input the only possibility to turn on the rear view.
Or there is a possibility by button switch or app.


Second:

I have installed the Y0251 DAB box. Reception with 24 station are Ok.
But if i switch from the DAB app to the home screen the DAB stream get jitter.
And if i start for excample google maps stream is broken
Has the unit not enough power to handle DAB and navigation on the same time?

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
For the first question, normally the unit will display the rear view when you put your car into reverse.
There is another possibility to get the rear camera image.
Don't connect the reverse detective wire, then plug the yellow RCA cable of the rear camera to the "V IN1" port of the unit.

Then go to the unit, find the AVIN, click it, and you will get the rear camera image without putting your car into reverse.
For the second question, sorry about this.
I'm not sure if its' the DAB+ box issue or the unit itself issue, would you mind provide a video about the problem?
I can send it to the factory technician and ask them give the best solution. Hope your understanding.

thats right but in this configuration i have no audio from radio or MP3 Player.
I want to use the reverse camera like a rearview mirror.

Hi,
The reverse camera just have the video output channel, not including the audio channel.
You can not use the reverse camera like a rear view mirror.
And the reverse camera real function is used for viewing the back image of the car and protect the car or people.

We find that the third part app such as DAB app is not compatible with other apps.
The factory is trying to give solution.
We could give you response once we get solution, please wait patiently .
