Hello,
yesterday i got some updates from google play store for some google apps (maps etc.)
this morning i noticed that my head unit was not performing a fastboot. it performed a cold boot.
After cold boot i could not enter the main menue because android was optimizing 1 app. about 2 minutes later the radio turned off an could not be reaktivated until ifnition was turned off and key was removed.
after this powercycle the head unit booted up again returning the message that 1 app will be optimized and shut down 2 minutes after.
the only way to power up the head unit again ist to unplug and replug the ignition key. this is not realy good while driving on the highway
it is not possible to enter the recovery by pressing the power button for long time. only a powercycle by removing key can start the radio again.
I'm stuck in this kind of bootloop, please help

Sorry for the trouble caused.
For your issue, it maybe the mcu problem, I will contact the factory technician and ask them provide the update mcu, hope it can solve the problem.

Hi Jammy,
i was now able to perform a factory reset. Head unit is now working but all my APPS and settings are gone due to the reset. so i have to start konfiguring the device again.
but i also have another question.
i bought the original dvr cammera for this unit an i noticed a smal problem
when i take a photo with the installed DVR software everithing is fine but when recording a driving video the vido is mirrored. it is displayed correctly on screen while recording but when i play the video later left and right are switched. Embedded speed infos from gps are displayed correct.
it seems like im driving on the wrong steet side when watching the video

For the DVR issue, maybe the DVR is not compatible with this unit, sorry about this.
If you don't mind, please use another USB DVR to check.

How could the camera be not compatible? I'm useing the original Pumpkin DVR Camera Y0020

i found another Post in this forum where the same probme with tfhe front DVR cammera exists
there you told that it is a software bug and that there will be a new firmware so solve ist

can you please provide an new firmware which solves this Bug?

For the DVR issue, the factory technician ever said that it could be solved by the update firmware, but I had to tell you, after testing it, the new update firmware did nothing for the DVR issue. And they did not have other efficient solution.
