I recently bought this item from Amazon

Great unit, but the mirrorlink is not working. it fails at the mob stage.
I am using a Galaxy note 4 running the latest 6.0.1.
The unit says in the settings that it is also using 6.0.1
i have also tried a variety of the easy connected apps with no joy.

is there a way to fix this as mirror link was one of the main features I was interested in?

For the mirrorlink app, you can try to uninstall it and reinstall.

I've tried this repeated times and am still having no luck.

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Running Android 6.0.1.
The System is also running 6.0.1
I have also tried downgrading my phone to 5.1.1
none of this has worked
i have tried various versions of Easy connected including 1.4.3.6 which was already installed and 3.4.2.0, 3.4.3.4, 3.4.3.5, 3.4.3.6
all of these have been completely unsuccessful. The only one that recognises that the phone is connected is 1.4.3.6 but this then fails at the next stage (MOB transfer)
for your information, I also have debugging enabled.
please help me solve this problem.
