The firmware aim to solve the GPS signal break off problem and the unit slow while powering on .

So it seems the update has infact not fixed the issue.

It has completely shut down today, again i was unable to restart the unit without switching the engine off.
The unit then restarted but switched off again shortly after.

Is there a thermal cut out to switch the unit off when it gets hot?

Rather unhappy ......
