RQ0278E always cold restarts

I have the RQ0278E unit (Order 500001639), and since the installation (January) it was usually warm starting, but also randomly cold starting. Last two months it is always cold starting, which is very inconvenient, because it takes a while for the rear camera to start working.

Plase suggest, how to solve this?

so you can contact the customer service where you bought the unit to return for repairing.

1. I bought it directly from Pumpkin.
2. I would be to complicated and expensive sending the unit to China and back. Also, I would stay without a head unit for some time.

Please suggest, what could be HW issue (if any) and I'll try fixing it in a local lab. Most probably the capacitor responsible for graceful shutdown or stable power on is too weak or faulty. Please consult with your engineering and suggest a solution.

Hi,
The problem of cold restarts usually is caused by the software problem but it might also be caused by hardware problem in some case.You can wait for several work days,once we get the effective software,we will send to you.Or you can search for local professional to check the hardware problem if you are in hurry.
For the returning regarding issue ,you need to consult with the customer service.They will offer you the return details according to your order.

Since doing the update above on my unit i have also been having a consistant cold booting rather then the quick 5 second boot.

The unit works in every other sense.
