Unfortunately I suffer the same problem.
The radio is not keeping things like fm radio channels and the buttons highlight color.
I updated with the new Firmware and I wanted to update the MCU but I only receive an error message (wrong file).
Do you have any other ideas?

Hi
I had the same problems until I discovered that the head unit has swapped the battery+12V and ACC (Switched)+12V from ISO standard. I had a previous after market unit in the car and decided to use the existing ISO plug and that caused the issue. When I added the loom that came with the head unit, all was fixed (the loom swaps yellow and red wires).
A give away is that when wired correctly, when you turn the car off, the unit displays a 'powering down' dialogue box before switching off.

I had the same issue, my HU (RQ0278E) stuck on app optimisation screen then reboot 2 times and switched off. Before firmware upgrade (which I did anyway to have the latest, the newest and the best
) in the recovery mode I have chosen
Wipe cache/Dalvik cache/Factory Reset option. Factory Reset, also called hard reset usually restore Android device to the state where it was made out in the factory. That is, all installed applications, software, passwords, accounts and other personal data you have stored on the internal memory, will be erased or wiped out clean. No matter for which reason you need to perform a factory reset on your device, it is effective and quick to bring your Android back to work again.

I have the same issue with my RQ0278E that it's forgetting some settings like the internet tethering via BT.
Can I get the lastest firmware for this device?

Hi ovi,
I'm not sure the adapter you said is the ISO power cable included in the package.
If you bought an adapter to make your unit work with your car, not modify and connect the correct wire, please plug our power cable into the unit firstly, then connect the adapter to our power cable.
Regards

Hi,
as I said I'm already using the adapter that came with the radio and no additional adapters!
the cabling is like
Radio <--> Pumpkin Adapter that was in the box <--> ISO plug from the car
The cabling should be correct. The radio also goes down to sleep mode correctly etc when turning off the ignitiion..
I was just asking for the latest firmware as I'm seeing the same problem as already described earlier in this thread by adrianS.
You said earlier in this thread that this memory issue might be fixed by a newer firmware.
So I'm just asking for the latest firmware for this device.
