PUMPKIN CAR STEREO SUPPORT CENTER

Hello,

The touchscreen on my 11-RQ0276E multimedia device has completely stopped responding. I have tried both a soft reset and a factory reset, but no change. It's installed on a Mazda MX-5.

I have tried taking it apart to ensure all the connections are correct and that none have come loose onto the motherboard. There is one strip connector on the right hand side which has a long thin which doesn't seem to go anywhere, but do not know where to plug it in.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hi,
Is the wire you said on the right hand side is black? If yes ,it is the bluetooth antenna.It does nothing about this issue.

Yes the wire is black, ok that's not the issue then, thank you for removing that from the equation.

I have tried emailing support, but I just seem to get generic replies.

Do you know how much a replacement touch screen part would be for this stereo, as I feel confident I could fit it myself.
