Questions and new firmware for my head unit?

Hello!

I have a new head unit which I think is model CN01-02306B-08A, purchased on Amazon order #113-8292050-5997832.

I have several questions/problems with this unit so far:

1) Is it possible to tether the head unit to my iPhone via bluetooth? I want the head unit to get Internet access from my phone. It seems like it’s possible to do the opposite (have the head unit provide Internet to the phone) but that’s not what I’m hoping to do.

2) Same question as above, for USB: If I can’t tether over bluetooth, can I give the head unit Internet via my phone if they’re connected via USB?

(Note: the reason I want to avoid pairing via wifi is so that I don’t have to unlock my phone and go to the “Personal Hotspot” function every time I start the car. If I use either bluetooth or USB, I don’t have to do this.)

3) Speaking of USB connections, the head unit does not detect my iPhone when I have it plugged in via USB. I know the cable is connected properly since the head unit charges my phone when it’s connected; the head unit just doesn't detect the phone and so it can't see any music, etc on the phone.

4) Are there 3rd-party apps that can replace your bluetooth audio, FM radio, and other built-in apps? The FM radio app in particular is not very good and a better one probably exists.

5) The settings for the "Amplifier" app don't get applied by default at boot time. I have to start the Amplifier app and make a change to any setting before the settings take effect.

6) Is there new firmware for this unit that might address some of the above?

Hi,
1.sorry to tell you that it is impossible for our unit to get the internet from your phone via bluetooth or USB .
2.It also can not detect your files on your phone via USB slot.It just support USB stick .
3.About the third party app of FM,it seems not.
4.about the amplifier app, do you mean your settings in amplifier app lose after re-start the unit ? Could you mind show me an video about this ? Did your unit display the power off info?
